Jair Salgado, a sophomore at Hope High School, was recently named to the All-State High School Jazz band! This is the first year Salgado tried out for all-state. He also serves as drum major for the Hope High School band. The State Jazz Band competition was held on February 3, 2023, in Conway, Arkansas. His performance with the tenor saxophone earned him the 2nd Band 2nd Chair and is one of only four tenor saxophone positions in the entire state, regardless of school size! Congratulations Jair!
