Had some close physical games last night against Lake Hamilton.
JV Girls finished with a 1-1 tie with #8 Madelyne Maclaughlin scoring the goal.
JV boys ended with a 0-0 tie.
In the varsity game, the girls got down 1-0 early. They battled all game and tied it up in the 2nd half with a goal from freshman Madelyne Maclaughlin. She made a great move to beat goalie and get the goal.
Lake Hamilton scored again with only minutes left and got the 2-1 win.
The varsity boys got on the board early with a great play and score by sophomore Aniell Felipe. The game was very physical and back and forth all night. Our defense, lead by senior Sergio Martinez, played great.
Lake Hamilton tied the game at 1 in the 2nd half and we finished with 1-1 tie.
Lake Hamilton has a very good team and these type of games will only help us get ready for conference play.
We will travel to Warren Friday.
