HOPE – The Hope Public Schools will offer a free COVID-19 vaccination clinic for HPS students ages 5 and up, faculty and staff at the Bobcat Clinic on the Hope High School campus, Jan. 12.
\r\nClinic hours will follow hours of regular operations at the Bobcat Clinic from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Vaccination appointments may be arranged by calling 870-722-2733, option 2, during regular clinic hours.\r\n
\r\nCarlton emphasized that an appointment is necessary in order to receive a vaccination.\r\n
\r\nThe clinic will offer the Pfizer vaccine only. For patients requiring a Pfizer booster, the maximum effective period of the original vaccination prior to booster is five months, according to Bobcat Clinic Director Gretchen Carlton.\r\n
\r\nStudents must register with the Bobcat Clinic and a completed registration packet is required prior to vaccination, Carlton said.\r\n
\r\nA vaccination consent form must also be completed prior to vaccination.\r\n
\r\n“HPS is fortunate to have an in-house clinic to assist our staff and students with their overall health needs,” Superintendent Dr. Jonathan Crossley said. “Their support of our school community is invaluable during the pandemic with the opportunity to provide COVID vaccinations and booster shots to our students and staff. If you are interested, please contact the Bobcat Clinic to make your appointment today.”\r\n
