HOPE – The Hope High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America will send 16 of its members to the Arkansas FBLA State Leadership Conference in Little Rock from recent conference competition in Hope.
\r\nThe HHS chapter garnered three first place awards from the Feb. 2 regional conference at the University of Arkansas-Hope, including Tara Henry, Introduction to Business Communication; Suvari Marshall, Advertising; and Camron Robinson, Insurance and Risk Management.\r\n
\r\nOther HHS students qualifying for the state competition include Markeveus Allen, third, Networking Infrastructures; Davian Durden, sixth, Comptuer Problem Solving; Quincee Key, sixth, Introduction to Information Technology; Melanie Lara, third, Securities and Investments; Tamorien Lindsey, fourth, Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure; Jessica Mendoza, second, Introduction to FBLA; Kristin Morrison, sixth, Journalism; Khalava Randle, sixth, Introduction to Business Procedures; Manuel Retana, third, Supply Chain Management; Reynaldo Retana, third, UX Design; Jaylei Simington, fifth, Human Resource Management; Mariana Turcios, fifth, Word Processing; and Saniyah Walker, sixth, Personal Finance.\r\n
\r\nThe 16 Hope students will compete at the state conference in the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock on April 4-5, according to FBLA sponsor Matha Wake.\r\n
