There were roughly 4000 students from all over the country in attendance at EASTCon in Hot Springs this week. Of those, EAST leaders gave away only 150 Difference Maker Award ribbons and pins to students for various reasons—presenting a particular project in a manner that made a great connection or impact, for being caught in a great act of kindness, for going out of their way for others, and many other notable acts worthy of recognition. THREE of the 150 awards came to Hope students! In fact, Hope Public Schools ended up with one difference maker to each campus in attendance! Recognitions were obtained by:
Brydarius Grissom - HHS
Mycah Bradley - HAPS
Autumn Flenory - YMS
Congratulations to these three students and to ALL the Hope students who took part in the conference and competition! GO BOBCATS!!
