HOPE – A threat involving a student in the Hope Public Schools has been resolved without incident, HPS Superintendent Dr. Bobby Hart said today.
“A threat occurred this morning which has been investigated and dealt with immediately,” Dr. Hart said.
He said local law enforcement was notified at 10:32 a.m. of the discovery of the threat.
“The student in question was in the care of administrators as soon as the threat was reported,” Hart said. “The school worked with the district administration and law enforcement to ensure the safety and welfare of all students, faculty, and staff.”
Immediate resolution of the threat and involvement of law enforcement required no disruption of classes, Hart said.
