HOPE – The applications period for new students interested in attending the Hope Academy of Public Service will close Friday. \r\n
\r\nOnline application forms in PDF format are available on the HAPS website in English and Spanish versions under the “documents” section. Mailed applications should be addressed to HAPS Office, Lisa Vaughn, Secretary, 601 W. Sixth St., Hope, Ar.,71801.\r\n
\r\nAdmission is for students in grades 5-9 in the Hope Public School District who wish to enroll for the first time at HAPS in the 2018-2019 academic year. Students living outside of the HPSD are subject to district transfer regulations.\r\n
\r\nStudents applying for admission to HAPS must demonstrate a record of advanced academic success; a record of excellent attendance; and a record of good conduct and work habits.\r\n
\r\nThe application process requires the completion of the official application, an Academic and Behavior Questionnaire, and an Entrance Assessment Packet.\r\n
\r\nEntrance Assessment dates are set for Feb. 3, 10, 24, 2018. Applicants will be assigned a date to complete the Assessment Packet at the HAPS campus.\r\n
\r\nParents will be notified of their student(s) Entrance Assessment results and placement status on April 2, 2018.\r\n
