Students in the Hope Academy of Public Service EAST program are spearheading an effort to provide supplies for patient families during long-term care at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. Items, including fleece material (one yard minimum), individually wrapped snacks, toiletries, bottled water or sodas, Chapstick, small size hand sanitizer, gently used fleece or baby blankets, and gently used blue jeans are being collected through Feb. 20. Donations should be taken to the HAPS principal’s office. EAST students Sarahi Acosta and Guadalupe Montavlan are project leaders. The project is a result of a Christmas season coloring book drive by the two students. – Hope Public Schools\r\n
