HOPE – A team of three graduate students from the Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock will begin an internship/partnership with the Hope Academy of Public Service here Tuesday.
The graduate students will be introduced to the faculty, students and public at a special community coffee set for 9:30-11 a.m. at the HAPS campus, 600 W. Sixth St. The event is open to the public.
The new academy has an enrollment of about 160 students and classes opened in August. The grades 5-8 academy is a blended learning environment of collaborative, individual and computer-centered instruction based upon personalized learning plans designed for each student to reach college potential.
The three Clinton School graduate students will work with faculty and students to design the public service curriculum for the academy as part of a year of study in Hope.
