HOPE – Students intending to apply to the Hope Academy of Public Service for admission in the 2019-2020 academic year should complete the application for enrollment before March 1.
\r\n“Interested families may come to the HAPS office to pick up an application or they are available on our website,” HAPS Principal Dr. Carol Ann Duke said.\r\n
\r\nThe application in English and Spanish are located on the bulletin board section of the website home page.\r\n
\r\nDr. Duke said an assembly for fourth grade students will be held at Clinton Primary School on Feb. 4 to overview the process.\r\n
\r\n“We are inviting parents of fourth graders to attend the assembly so they can hear firsthand about the expectations of the campus, the opportunities and the application process,” she said. “We will have applications available at the assembly.”\r\n
\r\nThe applications window closes March 1 at 3 p.m., Duke said.\r\n
\r\n“Once a student’s application is on file, families will be notified of their assessment/orientation appointment,” Duke said. “Assessments and orientations will be held on Saturday, March 2 or March 9.”\r\n
\r\nQuestions regarding the application or the process may be directed to Duke at 870-722-2700x401 or at carolann.duke@hpsdistrict.org online.\r\n
