Our HopeBots are bringing home the Energy Award from the Vex Robotics World Championship! Congratulations to Samuel Fellows, Sophia Finagan, Aracely Garcia and Johnny Paredes for representing Hope with excellence!
The Energy Award recognizes outstanding enthusiasm and excitement throughout the World Championship. Key criteria that teams must demonstrate is a passion for the robotics competition that enriches the event experience for all. Teams must demonstrate effective communication skills, teamwork, professionalism, and a student-centered ethos.
Team Ghostface demonstrated outstanding performance and was the only team at the tournament who could score the most challenging element. Team Lil Rascals and Ghostface cant wait to share more of their experience at worlds with you soon!
Students enrolled in the Take Flight program were recently honored in a dedicated graduation ceremony at Hempstead Hall. These students were part of a comprehensive dyslexia intervention curriculum that helped them succeed in their coursework. We are so proud and excited for these wonderful students! Our students completed state testing this week! We had several prize drawings this week for STAR test takers! Our grand prize winner won an Amazon Kindle today! Thank you students and teachers for your hard work!
RODEO WEEKEND!! This Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, (April 25, 26, and 27) enjoy the FFA Rodeo! Come out to the Fair Park Coliseum for bull riding, breakaway, barrel racing, bareback riding, mutton bustin, and so much more!
Tickets are $5.00 and events start at 7:00pm!

NOTICE REGARDING 5K RACE: After much thought and consideration, due to anticipation of bad weather tomorrow, and concern for your safety the 5K is postponed. The autism support group would like to let each of you know that they appreciate your donation and your willingness to come join our 5K. Packets will still be available for pickup between 6:30am-7:30am. #autismawareness

If you receive an email asking for refunds/ACH transfers, please notify the "sender" immediately by phone. The "sender" will look like it comes from a Hope Public Schools address.
