The Back to School BASH committee met on Wednesday to finalize plans for the event happening on August 25. Streets will be blocked off for the block party. The event will take place on Main and 2nd Streets from The Hub to the old Fosters building on 2nd and from Hebrews Coffee to Chamber offices on Main. Plans include free food, bouncy houses, temporary tattoo booth, music, $3000 in gift card prize drawings and more!
Dr. Crossley presented to the Kiwanis International luncheon on Tuesday. Hope Schools is fully staffed except for two positions. Plans are in the works to raise $5 million for student scholarships over the next two years. He stressed the need for community volunteers as tutors, reading helpers, and volunteer athletics coaches. District employees Misti Flowers, Jeff Madlock, and David Henderson also attended as guests. Madlock spoke briefly on technology updates in the district.

Línea de carros y de autobuses en HAPS tendrán nuevas rutas para comenzar en año escolar mientras se trabaja en la calle 6.
Los conductores de coches se acercaran al edificio de la calle 7, viniendo de Spring Hill Drive o Texas Street. A medida que los conductores se dirijan hacia el edificio en la calle 7, giraran IZQUIERDA en la curva de grava y en lo que solía ser el carril del autobús. Los conductores de automóviles se acercaran a la puerta y serán recibidos por el personal de HAPS.
