HAPS, YMS, & HHS visited New Millenium Buiding Systems this week. Students took a tour of the plant and learned about a variety of jobs in the production industry. We thank New Millenium for giving our students this wonderful opportunity.

HAPS other public service for today saw students and staff sorting and organizing clothes for the Hempstead County Closet. This organization does an amazing job of helping families in need. We are proud that these kids are learning the value of giving back and of our community for being so supportive!




Students helped Santa out this morning! Breakfast with Santa was fun for all involved!




AMI packets are coming home this week. Students will need these in the event of any school closures. Please sign the paper attached and put the packet in a safe place.

Students have been learning about Diabetes Awareness Month in advisory classes this month!

HAPS students, families, and staff completed another day of public service on this chilly morning. The projects today included the Little Libraries, painting decorations to participate in Hopeās beautification efforts, and preparing luminaries for Old Washington.
