The third and fourth grade teams from Clinton Primary School recently made a clean sweep of both divisions in the Southwest Arkansas Education Cooperative “Battle of the Books.” The CPS teams read a list of selected books and teams competed against each other by answering questions concerning the books from the list. The winning team from each grade level at CPS advanced to the regional competition at SWAEC against other Southwest Arkansas schools. The third grade team, with third grade teacher Cynthia Murphy, includes Kelson White, Tiamara Reynolds, Julia Shroad, and Austin Courtney. The fourth grade team includes Brianna Maclaughlin, Grace Patterson, Karleigh Moore, and Jer’Miah Nolen. – Hope Public Schools\r\n
