Administrators, teachers and staff at Clinton Primary School were up to some last week of school mischief planning a retirement reception for first grade teacher Saranda Kennedy. Noting her 40-plus years of teaching experience, 30 years of which have been in the Hope Public Schools, the teachers expressed their admiration for her service and a teeny bit of envy at Kennedy’s post retirement travel plans with some parting gifts. – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools
