Fourth grade students at Clinton Primary School have concluded a study of energy with a Science, Technology, Electronics, Mathematics (STEM) project on wind energy. The students were asked to design and construct a windmill capable of generating enough mechanical energy to lift a specific weight. Students worked collaboratively and with volunteer assistance to build windmills from their designs. Ultimately, each design succeeded in producing enough power to lift a specified weight.
