The Clinton Primary School Gifted and Talented program honored local military veterans in a program presented for the community Nov. 9 in the CPS cafeteria. Military color guard and flag ceremony was presented by the Hope High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. The veterans’ response was presented by American Legion Post 427 Commander Herbert Ross. Participating students included CPS Flag Bearers Drake Mathis, Davis Johnson, and Cayden Haywood; welcome by Jaime Young with thanks to veterans by Davis Johnson; and, Veterans’ Day poem read by London Cheatham.
