Students in Amanda Puryear’s first grade class at Clinton Primary School were treated to a McDonald’s party Monday as the K-2 grade winners of the CPS Penny Drive benefitting the Hempstead County United Way. McDonald’s of Hope rewarded the youngsters with free happy meals at the local restaurant. Together, the students at CPS raised $1,530 for United Way. – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools
