Creative Action Team School

HOPE – Open House for the return to school this year at the Creative Action Team School of the Hope Public Schools will accommodate safety via drive-by approach.\r\n

\r\n

CATS Principal Cleytus Dixon-Coulter said the event is set for Aug. 20 from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the CATS campus on Henry C. Yerger Street.\r\n

\r\n

“Grade-level stations will be set up for parents and students to receive a packet that is to be completed and returned to CATS campus on or before Aug. 24,” Coulter said.\r\n

\r\n

Classes throughout the HPS begin Aug. 24.\r\n

\r\n

Protocols for the drive by include:\r\n

\r\n

--Enter through west side of Henry C. Yerger Street bus circle drive at rear of Yerger Middle School campus.\r\n

\r\n

--Student and parent should wear a face mask.\r\n

\r\n

--Remain in your car; packets will be handed to you.\r\n

\r\n

--Do not pass other cars in the line.\r\n

\r\n

Student packets will include a CATS Handbook, CATS staff contact information, HPS bus handbook, and COVID-19 information.\r\n

\r\n

Drive by times by grade level include, Kindergarten through fourth grade, 3:30-5:30 p.m.; 5^th through 8^th grade, 5:30-6:30 p.m.; and 9^th grade through 12^th grade, 6:30-7:30 p.m.\r\n
