Thirteen Hope High School students competed for the titles of Mister and Miss Hope High School on stage at Hempstead Hall on the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana campus recently. Winning the Mister HHS title was Nicholas Collins. Matthew Tullos was first runner-up and Abraham Brito was second runner-up. The 2017 Miss HHS is Jaidyn Simington. Tristen Jones was first runner-up and Daisia Durden was second runner-up. Other contestants included Gabriela SanPedro, Ne’Asia Davis, Jamya Gamble, Shelbie Godwin, Britney Alvarado, Yajahira Dominguez, and Elizabeth Bamber– Andrew Williams for Hope Public Schools
