HOPE – Students at Hope High School will celebrate the annual prom to the beat of music provided by Central Arkansas Entertainment and have an opportunity to win prizes in a prom night “casino” April 23.
Tickets for the event will go on sale about a week before the “Neon Nights” event, according to Lena VanCamp, HHS Student Council advisor.
“There will be dancing all night,” VanCamp said. “We will crown a king and queen from the senior class and a prince and princess from the junior class.”
Red Carpet events begin at 7 p.m. on the HHS campus and prom activities in the HHS cafeteria start at 7:30 p.m. and will continue until 11 p.m.
“We have a ‘casino’ that will open at 8:30 and close at 10,” VanCamp said. “With tickets won in the casino, students can try their luck at winning one of the many prizes that are generously donated from community businesses.”
She said food and beverages will also be served throughout the evening.
Musical entertainment will be provided by the DJ service of Central Arkansas Entertainment.
“Tickets are $25 each,” VanCamp said. “If a student is interested in bringing someone who is not a student at HHS, he or she will need to fill out a form.”
Those forms will be available in the HHS central office, she said.
