HOPE – Hope High School students who qualified for spring semester incentive under the Strive for Five attendance initiative were announced Monday.\r\n
\r\nHHS Principal Bill Hoglund said the students who were absent fewer than five times during the grading period are offered the option to be exempt from spring final exams.\r\n
\r\n“This does not exempt students from online classes,” Hoglund said. “Homebound students are included on the exemption list.”\r\n
\r\nHe said the incentive is offered to all students who qualify, but students also have an opportunity to better their final semester grade by taking exams.
