Muldrow signs with Arkansas Baptist

All-state Hope Bobcat receiver/safety Nikorean Muldrow inked a letter of intent Feb. 11 to play football at Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock.

Muldrow played for six years in the Hope Public Schools system, completing his senior year under Bobcat Football Coach Phillip Turner.\r\n

“Nikorean was an explosive playmaker for us this year,” Turner said. “Whenever he touched the ball, he made something happen.”\r\n

Muldrow is expected to boost the Buffaloes at the receiver/running back and cornerback positions.\r\n

“I only wish I had him back for another season to really tap into his potential,” Turner said, after Muldrow signed the scholarship letter in ceremonies in the Hope High School library. “He really bought into our philosophy and coaching staff which helped him earn 5A All-state in football this season.”\r\n

Muldrow was accompanied during the signing by his mother, Ruby Muldrow, and his father, Dionko Horton. He anticipates studying toward a degree in social work at Arkansas Baptist College.\r\n
