Hope Public Schools is excited to begin a new partnership with Arkansas Rehabilitation Services to provide Pre-Employment Transition Services to a select group of students at Hope High School. To take advantage of this opportunity, students must be in grades 10-12 and identified as a student with special needs or a 504 student.
The Work-Based Learning Opportunities Leading to Future Employment (WOLF) will allow students to earn minimum wage while receiving hands-on learning opportunities and skills based training. Students will experience real-world employment tasks and situational learning opportunities. Our WOLF program will be held in conjunction with our already established Bobcats that Work Program.
Mr. John Byers from Arkansas Rehabilitation Services will be at Hope High School on September 13, 2024 and September 17, 2024 from 9:00-2:00 to assist parents with the application process and to answer any questions regarding current and future benefits.
Please sign the attached document indicating your level of interest in this program. Please respond by September 20, 2024. Thank you.
