The Hempstead County United Way Penny Drive winners at Yerger Middle School for 2016 have been announced. The top eighth grade class, with a total of 57.4 pounds of pennies, was Ms. Earlene Gulley’s class; and, the winning seventh grade class, with a total of 30.2 pounds of pennies, was Ms. Serena Allgood’s class. – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools
