Students from Hope High School, Yerger Middle School and Hope Academy of Public Service toured the production plant and offices at New Millennium Building Systems near Hope on Nov. 12. The Open House tours highlighted every facet of the local manufacturing facility which produces steel joists and decking systems to specifications within the context of a complete building project. New Millennium is a subsidiary of Steel Dynamics, a diversified domestic steel producer, steel construction and manufacturing components and metals recycling company. The Hope facility employees approximately 270 personnel.
