Mrs. Shelman's class has been making amazing projects to add a bit of STEAM into Literacy Class. These one-pager projects allow students to flex thier artistic muscles while still showing thier mastery of the content. These come from thier recent unit on Lowry's "The Giver", a classic Science Fiction novel!

This weekend, why not learn a little bit about the new Artemis Missions NASA is working on? (with the goal of sending humans to the moon and beyond!) In Mr. Molloy's class, students took a virtual field trip to explore the Artemis 1 module that was launched on November 16, 2022 as a test flight. You can experience this fieldtrip yourself! Yerger's 8th grade social studies class has been hard at work learning about the American Revolution! Last week, Mr. Anderson took advantage of the weather and had his classes reanact major battles of the American Revolutionary War through structured games of capture the flag! Hands-on simulations like this are just another example of how Yerger Middle School teachers are working hard to reach our students! #Yerger-Is-All-In!
