Allison Rowe, Middle School Magnet Coordinator, shares: Our recent Magnet Discovery Learning Friday at BHE and YMS offered students a variety of hands-on and creative activities, sparking curiosity and fostering new skills. Highlights included quilting, science experiments, escape rooms, a rocket launch, and Sphero coding. Students also enjoyed crocheting, making chunky blankets, churning butter, crafting loom potholders, and sampling global snacks with Universal Yum Boxes. Strategic minds honed their skills in chess, while others explored global cultures, wrote scripts for a play, and composed behavior songs. This day showcased the joy of learning through exploration, creativity, and collaboration. We look forward to the next one! #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture
