YMS recently hosted a successful Family Magnet Night in partnership with our Instructional Facilitator, Chelsea Glass and Magnet Home-to-School Advisor, Chassidy Glenn. The top 8 student projects from the Wizard of Oz Showcase were proudly presented to parents and judges. These students read the novel, watched the film, and selected a creative project to bring their understanding to life. From artistic interpretations to hands-on builds, the projects were both imaginative and well-executed. The students' presentation skills truly shined as they confidently explained their work. It was a fantastic evening celebrating creativity, comprehension, and student voice!
