On Friday, students in Payton Jones' class learned how to code with the Indy Robots. The kids had so much fun! They cannot wait to use them again.



Permission slips went out Monday for our first Guys in Ties meeting which will be held this Wednesday, February 7th, at 4pm at the High School. If your son is interested and did not receive a permission slip, have them pick one up in Mr. Burton's office

From Dr. Linda Clark: The Hope School School District is excited to announce that we plan to apply for the 21st Century Community Learning Center grant. With this grant, we hope to incorporate a program after school that includes positive activities to involve a variety of students, before and after-school programs to help our students with their studies, and prepare for ACT testing , enrichment activities on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. and summer school enrichment program, as well as offering parents and other community members a chance to utilize the schools’ computers and parental engagement opportunities. We hope that we receive this grant to allow our students and community the opportunities they deserve!
Clinton Primary Third and Fourth students recently participated in a Chess Competition at SWAEC.







Hope High School recently hosted a resume workshop for our community where we provided resume assistance and mock interviews to prepare individuals for their future! Thank you to those who volunteered their time to help with this event.




Yerger Middle School students took their field trip to Memphis,TN on yesterday and had an amazing time. The students toured the National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Hotel and gained a wealth of knowledge. Then thanks to numerous community donations the students were able to have a sit down dining experience and eat until they were absolutely full! There are way more pictures to come, but the students were very thankful for yesterday and have already asked when they can do it again. We love that our students had the opportunity to learn outside of the classroom and connect it to their curriculum and teaching from inside the classrooms. Mr. Anderson, Mrs. Simington, Ms. Casey Ms. Gray, Mr. Lard and Ms. Trotter served as chaperones on the trip with the students. Thank you all so much for the support of our students! They will display their knowledge from the museums on February 15th along with other schools at the African American Extravaganza hosted at Hempstead Hall! The doors will open at 4pm and the program will begin at 5:30pm..


SENIORS and parents of seniors: Herff Jones will be at Hope High School on Tuesday, February 6, from 11 am to 1 pm. This is the last chance to place orders for graduation items.

Teachers Support Teachers will recognize the Hope Public School Athletic Department during their 5th Annual Fundraising Gala on March 2, 2024. The event will take place at 6:30pm at the Arkansas Convention Center in Texarkana. Congratulations to our Athletic Department!

Two elementary level HopeBot teams took their skills to Little Rock on Wednesday and earned the district's first qualification to the Arkansas State Championship!
Both the "Lil Sunflowers" and "Pinkalicious" tied for 5th in skills out of 29 teams. Their success carried on the Teamwork Challenge where Pinkalicious worked with the Greenwood RoboDogs to earn Teamwork Champions and a bid for state.



On Thursday January 25, 2024 students from Clinton Primary School participated in Murfreesboro 3rd and 4th Grade Quiz Bowl Tournament. Students won Third place in the Tournament. The team is under the direction of Alvis Conway, coach. The team members are Miguel Diaz, Abigail Bunn, Madison Hawthrone, Annabeth Webb, Bentley Elder, Cing McFadden, Haynie Jackson and Alyssa Banks. Great job 3rd/4th Grade Quiz Bowl team.
